Instead of reinforcing the product using corrugate or wood, which gets locked between resin layers by mechanical bond, ArmorCoreTM is a RESIN based sheet, which means when it comes in contact with the other layers of resin, it chemically bonds and turns into a solid piece. Resin reinforced product (RRP) doesn't separate or delaminate, and it doesn’t get affected by weather.
ArmorCore™ RRP does not require foundation or bedding material for installation. ArmorCore™ RRP is impervious to moisture and freezing, and better suited to the rigors of construction than any other product. AcrylX™ with the strength of ArmorCore™ eliminates the hassle of damages that occur during handling and transportation that cost time and money.
Because ArmorCoreTM reinforcement is pliable, it conforms to the curves and contours of a tub or shower, making full contact at all points. Why is this a big deal? Full contact means a SOLID bond – no air pockets, no separation. Simply, it produces the most durable product available.
